Reading: "Zunflower" (pp. 54-59). Your job is to decide whether or not you agree with the descriptions of what certain primary shapes convey. Descriptions are found on p. 57 under the heading "Primary Shapes."

Save this file to a new folder in your H:\ drive. For this assignment, find 3 images that you particularly like. For each image, write down a few adjectives or phrases that describe what the image means to you or how it makes you feel. Write them below.
On page 57, Figures 7 and 8 show the primary shapes in the sunflower image. For each of your 3 images, find the primary shapes and trace them. You can do this in Photoshop or Fireworks, or print them out and draw on them. If you print them out to draw on them, scan in your finished images and insert them into this document.
Based on what you wrote about each image and what shapes you found in each image, what can you say about the description of primary shapes on p. 57? Do you agree? Why or why not? Write your answer below.
